Pond King Water Gardens is proud to serve you with a sole focus on ponds, waterfalls, streams, koi ponds, wetland filters, bog gardens, bubbling rocks, fountains, and water gardens. We are able to serve both residences (individual homes) and commercial businesses (apartment complexes, business parks, business building, town home associations, schools, city parks, etc.) We are located in Bloomington Minnesota; we proudly serve Minnesota, all of the Midwest and hopefully, one day, the nation!
We offer you the complete package of a water feature, from the first thought to running water. We do the design, the building, and our maintenance service is being put into place. Our main goal is to serve you! We want you praise our passion, our service, and our company. We want you to see that the way we practice business is with integrity and honesty. We know that if you have a great experience with us you will tell your friends, neighbors and family. Our goal is for you to speak about your great experience with us and how much you love your water feature to everyone you talk to on a daily basis. We want to grow our business, but by means of love for what we do. We truly do love people and love serving you!
We offer design consultations, which are typically you getting to know our designers and our designers getting to know you. We charge a $75 fee for design consultations, however, if you chose Pond King Water Gardens to complete your paradise that fee is subtracted from the cost of your project. Our Designers Consultants are not just salesmen looking for a commission, but are true consultants so you can consult with YOUR designer! We feel this is the best way for us to give you something you want; bouncing ideas off of your designer and your designer bouncing ideas off of you. Our designers are taught to do this all through-out the process of construction. We want you to own your water feature with pride forever. We charge for our consultations as it is the actual designer and builder that you will be meeting with and they run the job site. They are often doing consultations before or after a long day of construction and incurring time and travel expense.
Our construction service starts even before we break ground. We do everything you need to have a successful water feature right here in Minnesota during the construction of your water feature. We map out the site, figure out utility and/or irrigation considerations, dig the hole, move the dirt, lay the under liner, lay the liner, move in tons and tons of boulder, followed by tons and tons of gravel, all while having the visions of waterfalls and streams dancing in our heads. Many people feel that they can build a water feature on their own. For some of them this is true, but for many people they need our help. And for do-it-yourselfers please check out our designer for a day service. But for many of our clients they have enough on our plates than to have to worry about studying up on proper techniques and implementing proper construction. Let us do this for you! Also we offer a two year guaranty on construction so that if, in the unlikely event, something went wrong you have a professional that has the experience to deal with whatever situation arises.
The maintenance services we offer now are limited to spring clean outs and fall shut downs. Pricing varies based on the individual feature and is based on size and man hours spent on maintaining the water feature. Our goal is to be able to offer a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly maintenance program for your pond. However we are unable to accommodate most of these requests at this time. Spring clean outs consist of draining the water feature, cleaning out any excess debris, pressure washing everything, re-introducing the fish if need be and then making sure everything looks almost like it did upon original completion. Fall shut downs consist of removing fish if need be, draining any excess water, cleaning out any extra debris and protecting the pump for the winter.
Designer for a day is the new service we are offering where one of our designers will spend the whole day helping on your project. Our designer will be help move dirt and rocks using your equipment. They will offer proper techniques and help add our vision of recreating Mother Nature to your project. Pricing on this service varies on the complexity of your project, and this service does not come with any guarantees. We are unable to offer a guarantee because we do not have complete control of the project.
Emergency services are available. An emergency is rare but they do happen. We want you to know that we are here to answer your questions and address your concerns. If a problem is able to be solved over the phone there is no charge, but if it requires a house call we do charge for that. A house call is $45 dollars for the first fifteen minutes of a call (subject to change based on location or if on-call employees are used or if we are called out on holidays) and $75 dollars and hour or fraction thereof after the first fifteen minutes. Our on-call employee will not stop working on the emergency until it is determined to be safe to stop.
We have been blessed to be able to do what we love. It is truly fun to re-create nature for us, and to help you enjoy a relaxing water feature. We do everything we are able to help you have a personal paradise. Water gardens are our favorite things to build as it is in the title of our company, but we love doing it all. We have chosen to start our company buy focusing on what we are good at and what we know. But it is very evident to us that many people in this industry have lost focus on continued service. We are in business to be in business for our children’s children. The only way we can do this is to offer you the best of the best service you can get in any industry. But it is so important because in this industry it is a rarity. Our employees end up feeling like our clients are more friends than clients. That is always our goals to make a friend while in the process of giving you superior customer service that you wouldn’t otherwise get in Minnesota!
